FXC-100 Fixture and Automation Controller

The FXC-100 is a cost-effective industrial controller for automation and motion control applications. Built into an industrial and rugged housing it offers many additional interfaces for building smart automation systems when space and performance are crutial, including industrial vision and motion applications.

Smart Automation Controller

The FXC-100 is a highly integrated automation controller, targeted for control applications where motion control applications needs to be combined with additional communication standards, including USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, CAN, I2C. Additionally, the controller hosts analog and digital I/Os and a safety relay circuit.

Motion Control

The controller incorporates four stepper motor outputs with independent right and left reference inputs per motor and A/B/N incremetal encoder inputs for controlling 2-phase stepper motors at a maximum violtage of 24V and peak current of max. 2.5A. Typical use cases include micro alignment and fixture controlling applications.

Communication Interfaces

For vast communication applications including with industrial cameras the automation controller is equipped with lots of interfaces including Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 device and host, HDMI, CAN, RS-232 and I2C. Additionally, the system offers 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs for general purpose I/O applications. Using 8 analog input channels and 2 analog outputs with 16 bit resolution the system can perform measurement and control applications.

Heart of the automation controller is a powerful NXP i.MX 6Dual CPU with a dual ARM Cortex A9 arcitecture, offering outstanding multimedia and image processing capabilities. This outstanding CPU enables the user of the FXC-100 controller the implementation of powerful applications including image processing, motion control, communication and others.
