KT Sound & Haptics Explorer

Konrad Technologies offers with the KT Sound & Haptics Explorer a cost effective standard solution for testing of haptic and acoustic properties of automotive interior parts, including headlight switches and turn indicator switches. The system allows manufacturer and OEM customer the optimization of their products for a maximum operational comfort.

The KT Sound & Haptics Explorer acquires audio signals time synchronized with length, force, torque and angle signals. Switch positions can be acquired by time-synchronized sampling of digital signals via CAN bus or LIN bus.

The easy-to-use software offers many signal processing functions, including octave analysis, psychoacoustics, transient analysis, limit tests and weighting functions. Result data can be exported to Excel and NI DIAdem.

Typical applications include the qualification of prototypes in development labs and the automated end-of-line test in the production floor.
