Joint European technology holding company since 1 August 2026 – both companies remain independent – first combined trade fair appearance at electronica in Munich
Nuremberg / Radolfzell on Lake Constance, With effect from 1 August 2026, ProMik Programmiersysteme für die Mikroelektronik GmbH of Nuremberg and the newly established Konrad Technologies GmbH of Radolfzell on Lake Constance have been brought together under the umbrella of a joint European technology holding company. This is explicitly a technology partnership between equals: both companies will remain independent and continue to operate autonomously in the market, complementing one another in a targeted manner in the future in the areas of sales, technology and market development.
A shared vision
At the heart of the alliance lies a shared vision: ProMik and Konrad Technologies see themselves as innovative, dedicated process partners to their customers in the field of testing and flashing within electronic manufacturing. With a combined total of almost 70 years’ experience in test and measurement, both companies bring in-depth process expertise to the table – as process specialists, not merely as integrators.
Joint strengths: Smart Solutions, flexibility, cyber security, low-volume high-mix
The partnership combines the respective unique selling points of both companies into a shared value proposition: intelligent, flexibly scalable test solutions (“Smart Solutions”), high flexibility in handling and integration, strong expertise in cyber security, and many years’ experience in the demanding low-volume high-mix segment. The standard systems on offer are deliberately designed to be flexible and scalable and require only a few interfaces – an advantage that provides customers with reliability, a technological edge and cost benefits all at once.
Covering more together
The partnership strengthens both companies and their respective portfolios. Through the combined network of ProMik, Konrad Technologies and their partners, it will in future be possible to cover extensive testing tasks across industries and applications – from the programming and testing of individual semiconductor components right through to complex system and vehicle tests. The collaboration focuses on exchange, mutual complementarity and the joint expansion of the technological profile.
Looking ahead
For the coming years, both companies see artificial intelligence and miniaturisation in particular as key areas of development for the further advancement of their joint testing solutions.
First joint appearance at electronica in Munich
As a first visible step, ProMik and Konrad Technologies will exhibit together at electronica in Munich and present their combined value proposition for testing and flashing in electronics manufacturing for the first time as a joint venture.
