For 30 years now, Konrad Technologies has been synonymous with expertise in the development of test solutions. Founded in 1993 by Michael Konrad, the company is celebrating its anniversary this year and looks back on a successful corporate history.

Customized solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle

Starting as a one-man company in Radolfzell, Konrad Technologies has grown into an internationally operating company with 9 locations in six countries. A key foundation, both in the past and present, has been the focus on highly precise measurement technology in automated test solutions. With the development of ABex technology (Analog Bus Extension for PXI), Konrad achieved another leap forward, enabling testing engineers to have flexible wireless connections from the tester to the test object.

Shortly after the turn of the millennium, the expert in test solutions had already completed over 200 successful projects in the automotive industry. One significant milestone was the technological advancement of test strategies in automotive sensors (camera, radar) in 2008. These projects laid the foundation for the company group to establish another technological focus in the field of sensor testing and simulation in production and development.

Konrad Technologies' test solutions are used in the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, household appliances, medical technology, semiconductor, electronics manufacturing and industrial automation industries.

Konrad Technologies provides turnkey products and solutions in the electronics testing field. From feasibility studies to system design, and from construction to hardware and software integration, customers can get everything from a single source.

Nomination for the Product Leadership Award 2021

The success of Konrad Technologies is evident from its strategic approach, as reflected in its company's development. After the establishment of Konrad China in 2014, the acquisition of NI-Gold Partner VI-Engineering in 2015 marked the company's entry into the American market. Two years later, the company acquired a location in the United Kingdom.

In 2017, Konrad Technologies became a founding member of ADAS iiT, a consortium of experts dedicated to advancing autonomous driving. Consequently, the company introduced a complete ADAS test and simulation solution to the market. This solution is continuously adapted and enhanced to meet market demands. In 2020, in collaboration with NI, data recording and replay systems were added to the portfolio. Renowned automotive manufacturers and suppliers are among their customers.

With additional strategic partnerships and the nomination for the Global Product Leadership Award 2021 for Sensor Fusion HIL by Frost & Sullivan, Konrad Technologies continues its success story. This achievement is certainly cause for celebration for Michael Konrad and his team.
