The design of the system takes place in the context of usability as a complete system tester, customized by targeted test adapters to the specific requirements of the different specimens.

In addition to standard ATE functionality, the system supports the integration of test facilities for:

Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)

Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)

Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)

High Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS)

Konrad Technologies Landing Flap Lever Functional Tester FCT

Landing Flap Lever
Functional Tester (FCT)

Based on the requirements of a leading aerospace manufacturer a functional test system for a landing flap lever was developed. The main objective of the application was the electrical and mechanical function testing including the position detection. In addition, the integrated corner sensor was selected and the absolute position of the lever checked.

Function Test example:
- Programmable AC Source: 115V / 400Hz
- Programmable DC Power Sources: 2x 0-35V, 0-8V 2x
- Fixed voltage sources 5V, 3.3V, 15V
- Central system power supply incl. emergency stop circuit as well as internal system supply voltages
- Multifunction DAQ (16-bit, 1.25 MS / s)
DUT (Device Under Test) Communication: ARINC 429
Other communication Interfaces supported: Arinc 615A Ethernet / AFDX, ARINC 664, MIL-STD-BUS 1553MIL, Fibre channel, HS1760 / MIL-STD-1760E, AS6802 Deterministic Ethernet

Konrad Technologies High Accelerated Stress Screening HASS Test System

High Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) Test System

For quality assurance reasons under practical conditions, Stress Screening Tests were developed for the aerospace industry. During the test, the Devices Under Test (DUTs) undergo temperature cycles ranging from -40°C to +85°C, while being subjected to multi-axis shaking. This rigorous testing methodology ensures the detection of early failures and manufacturing defects with a high level of certainty.

Test System Capabilities:
- DUT interfacing via exchangeable test adapters
- Aerospace voltage 115V/400Hz
- Flexible supply and switching of multiple DC and AC voltages to the DUTs
- Stimulation and measurement of selected signals for failure detection by using commercial off the shelf (COTS) instrument based test system
- Control of climatic chamber and shaker (HASS chamber) as a subject to test sequences
- Automated verification of all software and hardware parameters
- All test result data are stored in result files, compliant to aerospace standards, e.g. ABD0100.
- Furthermore, software tools such as KT-STAT are used for SPC analysis to simplify a continuous improvement of production quality.

Konrad Technologies Avionics Equipment Universal Test System

Avionics Equipment
Universal Test System

To effectively test complex Avionics Equipment like the Tactical Mission Computers for the Eurocopter Tiger and NH90 programs, a universal test system was implemented, exclusively built on the concept of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components. The foundation of this system relies on the LEON Tower, specifically designed to meet the unique requirements of the aviation industry. It enables the comprehensive testing of all system components at three different levels of depth and precision.
- LRU level (Line Replaceable Unit)
- SRU level (Shop Replaceable Unit)
- PMC module level.
The three different test scenarios each have test unit adapters connected with the standard interface of the test system.

Test System Capability:
- Function Test (FCT)
- Video Signal Test
- Boundary Scan Test
- Avionics DUT Communication
- Break out Panel
